Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.
A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.
A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Authorities were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
